TORONTO – Kaylee Hunter scored in the 100th minute as AFC Toronto edged the Vancouver Rise 2-1 on Sunday.
Lena Silano had given Toronto (11-5-7) the lead in the 19th minute.
Latifah Abdu tied it up for Vancouver (8-12-3) just eight minutes later.
Hunter deflected in a powerful header from Shelina Zadorsky on a corner kick for the go-ahead goal.
It was a Northern Super League regular-season game and a W Canadian Championship quarterfinal.
AFC Toronto has already clinched an NSL playoff spot while the Rise are chasing the Halifax Tides for the fourth and final berth.
