TORONTO – In a May 24 story on a federal court ruling in the case of Mahmoud Jaballah, The Canadian Press erroneously reported that he was a father of three and came to Canada in 1995. In fact, he is a father of six and came to Canada in 1996. The story also erroneously included a reference to Jaballah having worked on a farm in Sudan. Some versions also included an incorrect surname for Jaballah.
