OTTAWA – The Kingston Frontenacs won their third in a row in the Ontario Hockey League with a 5-1 victory over the host Ottawa 67’s on Wednesday.
Linus Hemstrom led the Frontenacs with a goal and an assist, with Nathan Poole, Tyler Hopkins, Jacob Holmes and Paul Ludwinski also scoring for Kingston.
Frontenacs goalie Mason Vaccari stopped 27 of 28 shots for the win.
Kaleb Lawrence scored Ottawa’s lone goal with 67’s netminder Max Donoso turning away 28 of 33 shots in the loss.
Kingston (19-10-9) has won back-to-back road games.
The Frontenacs trail Ottawa by one point and the division-leading Peterborough Petes by two in the East.
In other OHL games Wednesday, the London Knights downed the Guelph Storm 5-2, the Brantford Bulldogs doubled the Sarnia Sting 6-3 and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds beat the Sudbury Wolves 7-4.

Oliver Bonk and Denver Barkey each scored twice and Jackson Edward once for the Knights with goalie Michael Simpson making 21 saves.
Hunter McKenzie and Jake Karabela replied for Guelph. Storm goalie Brayden Gillespie had 24 saves in the loss.

Nick Lardis led the Bulldogs with a pair of goals.
Calvin Crombie, Marek Vanacker, Luca Testa and Jorian Donovan each had a goal for Brantford with netminder David Egorov earning the win with 18 saves.
Sarnia’s goal scorers were Sandis Vilmanis, Tyson Doucette and Sean Doherty. Sting goaltender Karsen Chartier stopped 32 shots in the loss.
Greyhounds 7 Wolves 4
Owen Allard’s hat trick led the Greyhounds (12-7-0-0), who top the OHL’s West Division.
Marco Mignosa, Andrew Gibson, Bryce McConnell-Barker and Justin Cloutier each contributed a goal to the victory while Greyhounds netminder Charlie Schenkel stopped 21 shots.
Evan Konyen scored twice and Nick Yearwood and Dalibor Dvorský once apiece for Sudbury.
Wolves starter Jakub Vondras allowed four goals on 12 shots before Nate Krawchuk came in to turn away 16 of 18 shots.
