DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. – Sam Oliver scored four goals and added an assist as the Drummondville Voltigeurs outlasted the visiting Moncton Wildcats 8-6 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Saturday at Centre Marcel Dionne.
Kassim Gaudet, Luke Woodworth, Justin Cote and Marc-Olivier Beaudry also scored for the Voltigeurs (36-10-4-1), who outshot the Wildcats 41-31. Vsevolod Komarov and Gaudet each chipped in with three assists.
Preston Lounsbury, Alex Mercier, Olivier Boutin, Shawn Carrier, Yoan Loshing and Caleb Desnoyers scored for the Wildcats (28-16-3-3), who were tied 1-1 with the Volts after the first period and 3-3 heading into the third. Natan Grenier chipped in with two assists.
