TORONTO – Incumbent goalkeeping coach Simon Eaddy will be returning under new Toronto FC coach Robin Fraser.

General manager Jason Hernandez said there are two new assistant coaches but declined to identify them Wednesday “just because it involves a trade in MLS.”

“We’re working on one or two more (assistant coaches),” he added.

New Zealand-born Eaddy joined Canada Soccer in 2012 and worked with former coach John Herdman on both the Canadian men’s and women’s teams before joining him at TFC.

Cesar Meylan, brought in by Herdman as Toronto’s director of performance, and performance analyst Peter Galindo also remain with the club.

The rest of Herdman’s staff — including former Canada captain Jason deVos and former TFC player Terry Dunfield, who bridged the gap between Bob Bradley and Herdman — have left the team.

Herdman’s first-team staff last season also included Eric Tenllado (assistant coach and performance lead), Robyn Gayle (performance and wellness coach), and Alex Dodgshon (scouting and analytics coach).
