BOISBRIAND, Que. – Justin Carbonneau scored his second goal of the game 1:52 into overtime as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada rallied past the Charlottetown Islanders 4-3 on Thursday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action.
Carbonneau has 41 goals on the season, fourth most in the QMJHL.
Mateo Nobert’s goal midway through the third period forced the extra period as Blainville-Boisbriand (33-17-7) erased a 3-1 deficit. Olivier Filaj also scored for the Armada while Felix Hamel made 21 saves for the win.
William Shields struck twice and Ross Campbell added a goal as Charlottetown (27-26-5) built its early lead. Nicolas Ruccia stopped 21 shots for the Islanders.
Blainville-Boisbriand couldn’t connect on its two power plays and Charlottetown went 1 for 2 with the man advantage.
The Armada have earned points in 14 consecutive games.

EAGLES 2 REMPARTS 1 (OT)
QUEBEC CITY — Tomas Lavoie scored in overtime as Cape Breton edged the Remparts.
Joseph Henneberry had a power-play goal to opening scoring as the Eagles (31-19-7) won their fourth straight.
Peter Valent tied the game 1-1 for Quebec (23-29-7).
