BRAMPTON – Owen Griffin had two goals and one assist as the Oshawa Generals topped the Brampton Steelheads 4-1 on Sunday to advance to the second round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.
Luke Torrance and Colby Barlow also scored for Oshawa, which won the best-of-seven series 4-2. Jacob Oster made 23 saves.
Carson Rehkopf had the lone goal for Brampton, which avoided elimination on Friday with a 6-3 victory.
