CALGARY – The Calgary Flames have signed goaltender Devin Cooley to a two-year, one-way contract extension worth US$2.7 million, the NHL club announced Tuesday.
The 28-year-old from Los Gatos, Calif., has a 4-4-2 record with a 2.40 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage in 13 games with the Flames this season.
He has combined with Flames starting goalie Dustin Wolf to post the second-best team goals-against average (2.20) and save percentage (.922) on home ice this season.
Cooley signed with Calgary as a free agent on July 1, 2024, and spent last year with the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League.
He posted a team-high 21 wins with the Wrangles last season and was named a 2025 AHL All-Star.
The Flames return to action Wednesday night against visiting Philadelphia.
