TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts acquired Canadian offensive lineman Chris Kolankowski from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for a sixth-round CFL draft pick next year. 

Kolankowski, 34, returned to his hometown team in the trade announced Monday after spending his first three CFL seasons with the Argonauts between 2016 and 2018. 

The two-time Grey Cup champion played eight games for the Ticats this season after five years with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The six-foot-one, 307-pound lineman won the Grey Cup with Winnipeg in 2021 and with the Argonauts in 2017.

The York University product has appeared in 103 regular-season games, five playoff games and five Grey Cups during his career.

Kolankowski appeared in four straight Grey Cup games with Winnipeg from 2021 to 2024.

The Argonauts were 3-4 in second in the East Division on Monday. Toronto hosts the Calgary Stampeders on Thursday.
