The Prairie Firehouse was full of good moms celebrating Brandon’s first Bad Moms’ Night Out!
Being a mom is a hard job, and many hats must be worn on any given day. So a night celebrating all women is brilliant.
Approximately 110 women plus volunteers and models attended the first Bad Moms’ Night Out on Jan. 10. Those who attended enjoyed an open bar menu, with bad moms cocktails such as PTA punch and beer and wine.
Anna from Prairie Firehouse and Kerri, the president of the parent council at Kokums Early Enrichment Program (KEEP), came up with the idea and organized the event along with a parent committee from KEEP.
The night was a smashing success! The ladies also enjoyed a kicked-up version of bad mom food such as gourmet grill cheese sandwiches, charcuterie boards and wings.
Those who attended enjoyed a fashion show with models showing off outfits from many local businesses such as Muse, Lady of the Lake, Cinnamon Tree, Lularoe, The Green Spot, Dunes, Pawsitive Communities and Pro Pretty Prints. Ladies danced the night away to the Manitoba band “Copper Moon.” If you haven’t heard Copper Moon, you should! They are incredible!
The entire event was a fundraiser for Kokums Early Enrichment Program, and they plan to make this an annual event. Word on the street is that it could be a semi-annual event, with the next one possibly being a Bad-momlympics in the summer.
