The Toronto Sceptres and Montréal Victoire continued to round out their rosters Thursday ahead of the upcoming Professional Women’s Hockey League draft.
The Sceptres signed defender Kali Flanagan to a one-year contract extension, while the Victoire re-signed forward Catherine Dubois through the 2025-26 season.
The 29-year-old Flanagan from Burlington, Mass., had three goals and four assists in 30 games with the Sceptres this past season and was second on the team in time on ice with over 647 minutes played.
Flanagan was selected by Toronto in the sixth round, 35th overall, in the inaugural PWHL Draft. She had six points (three goals, three assists) during the 2024 season and was the only player to play the full 24 games without taking more than one penalty.
Flanagan is the fourth player to re-sign with Toronto this off-season alongside forwards Jesse Compher, Maggie Connors and 2024 MVP Natalie Spooner.
The 29-year-old Dubois, from Quebec City, had six goals and three assists in 24 games in 2024-25 and scored the winning goal at 15:33 of the fourth overtime period in Game 2 of Montreal’s first-round playoff series with Ottawa.
She has eight goals and seven assists in 45 career PWHL games.
Montreal later announced the signing of defender Jessica DiGirolamo to a two-year contract. The 26-year-old DiGirolamo spent the last two seasons with the Boston Fleet, and had five points (one goal, four assists) in 30 games in 2024-25.
The Ottawa Charge also signed forward Élizabeth Giguère to a one-year deal. Giguère, 28, played the past two years for the New York Sirens where she had four points (two goals, two assists) in 2024-25).
The PWHL draft is next Tuesday in Ottawa.
