MELBOURNE – Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani fell 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-4 to Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Serbia’s Aleksandra Krunic in the women’s doubles semifinals at the Australian Open on Thursday local time.

Dabrowski and Stefani, the fifth seeds, were ahead 3-1 in the final set before dropping the following four games.

An unforced error helped seal the next game for Dabrowski and Stefani to pull to within one. However, they were quickly put away with four straight winners from Danilina and Krunic.
