GÄLLIVARE – Another World Cup ski cross silver medal and overall championship for Canadian Reece Howden.

Howden, of Chilliwack, B.C., finished just behind Italian Simone Deromedis in a photo finish Sunday. Edoardo Zorzi, also of Italy, was third.

It marked the second silver in as many days for Howden, who earned a second-place finish Saturday. But the Canadian had already clinched the Crystal Globe for taking first in the individual standings for a second straight season and fourth time overall.
