The Montreal native defeated Croatia’s Dino Prizmic 7-6 (2), 6-3, 7-5 in men’s singles action at the Grand Slam tennis tournament on Wednesday.

Auger-Aliassime was down 5-4 in the final set before taking the final three games to pull out the win.

The 25-year-old converted on two of his four break-point chances and had 15 aces, although he also committed seven double faults.
